Postgame 5: Zegras and Vladar Spur Flyers Win
The Philadelphia Flyers won 4-1 over the Nashville Predators at Xfinity Mobile Arena on Thursday night, improving to 6-1-0 on home ice this season.
Trevor Zegras led the team with two goals and an assist, while Matvei Michkov generated two primary assists. Dan Vladar played a strong game in net, stopping 32 of 33 shots.
The game was scoreless in the first period, but Zegras and Jamie Drysdale scored in the second period to give the Flyers a 2-0 lead. Matthew Wood scored for Nashville late in the period, but Zegras scored again in the third period to restore the two-goal lead.
Juuse Saros made 14 saves on 17 shots for Nashville in the loss. The Flyers are now 6-1-0 at home.
