Samsung Electronics has announced plans to build an AI factory, utilizing over 50,000 GPUs from Nvidia across its production system.
The partnership aims to accelerate the development and production of next-generation chips and mobile devices.
The facility would integrate “every aspect of semiconductor manufacturing, from design and process to equipment, operations and quality control, into a single intelligent network”.
The move is part of Samsung's company-wide digital transformation, leveraging AI-enabled manufacturing.
Nvidia stated that the collaboration will set “the foundation of next-generation, AI-driven production” by combining their respective chip expertise.
