Israeli Airstrikes in Lebanon
Despite a ceasefire, Israeli airstrikes killed 1 and injured 7 in Lebanon, according to Lebanese authorities.
The Israeli army launched 12 airstrikes in southern and eastern Lebanon, targeting several areas, including the towns of Bnaafoul, Khirbet Dweir, and Blida.
- Sidon district was targeted, with two attacks in Bnaafoul.
- Khirbet Dweir, between Sarafand and Baysariyeh, was also hit.
- Roumine and Houmine areas in the Nabatieh district were bombed.
- Marjayoun district, specifically the town of Blida, was targeted by an Israeli drone.
- Other targeted districts include Marjayoun, Bint Jbeil, and Baalbek.
Lebanon will gradually increase the number of troops deployed south of the Litani River to 10,000 by the end of 2025, says President Aoun.
