Dodgers Notes: Shohei Ohtani, Mookie Betts, Tyler Glasnow
Shohei Ohtani has been mostly absent in October, but he set the tone early in Game 3 of the NLCS with a leadoff triple.
The Dodgers have dominated the postseason, winning eight of their first nine games, and need just one more win to advance to their second straight World Series.
Despite being the presumed NL MVP, Ohtani has not contributed much on offense, except for a pair of home runs against the Cincinnati Reds in Game 1 of the Wild Card series.
He had only three hits in his last eight games, but connected for an RBI single in Milwaukee on Tuesday and a leadoff triple on Thursday, scoring on a Mookie Betts RBI double.
Ohtani's performance has been a significant factor in the Dodgers' success.
