The Supreme Court has quashed a religious conversion case against the Vice-Chancellor of Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences (SHUATS), Dr. Rajendra Bihari Lal.
A Bench of Justices JB Pardiwala and Manoj Misra passed the ruling, which involved allegations of attempts to convert people to Christianity.
No stranger or third party can file a complaint, although this restriction was removed by a 2024 amendment.
