The Philadelphia Flyers (1-2-1) hosted the Winnipeg Jets (3-1-0) at Xfinity Mobile Arena on Thursday, after winning their home opener against the Florida Panthers on Monday night.
The Flyers had a 1-1 record against the Jets last season. Before the game, defenseman Cam York was activated off the injured reserve, and Emil Andrae was sent down to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.
Samuel Ersson started in goal for the Flyers, his second game of the season, after Dan Vladar's strong showing against the Panthers.
