Theft on Facebook Marketplace
Police are warning the public after a Facebook Marketplace deal turned into a theft in Paris.
A resident of Flagg Avenue had listed a green iPhone 15 for sale on the marketplace feature of the social media app. A buyer, with the profile name of Kirtoura Jones, agreed to buy the phone for $650 and arranged to meet at about 6:30 p.m.
While the buyer was in possession of the phone, a white compact vehicle pulled into the driveway, and the suspect ran off with the iPhone.
- The suspect is described as being black, about six feet tall, with a slim build and black curly hair.
- The Facebook profile photo matches the suspect who took the phone.
