Ilkley Film Society set to screen courtroom drama from Clint Eastwood

Ilkley Film Society Screening

Ilkley Film Society will screen Clint Eastwood's courtroom drama Juror #2 on Sunday, October 26th at 8pm at Ilkley Playhouse.

The film tells the story of a young man serving on a jury in a high-profile murder trial in Savannah, Georgia, who discovers a personal connection to the case, leading to a moral dilemma.

Notably, Clint Eastwood was 93 years old when production began, marking his 40th film as a director. The film features Toni Collette in a major role and Nicholas Hoult in the lead, who has since starred in Nosferatu and Superman.

Guests are welcome to attend the screening for £5 (cash only) and can contact Dave Howell on 01943 430097 or email secretary@ilkleyfilmsociety for more information.

Clint Eastwood still has some way to go to match the Portuguese director Manoel de Oliveira who directed 3 full-length features after his 100th birthday!
