Kap's Café Shooting: Third Incident in Three Months
A Surrey café owned by Bollywood star Kapil Sharma was targeted by shooters for the third time in just over three months.
The café, located in the 8400-block of 120 Street in Newton, was shot at around 3:45 a.m. on Thursday, according to Surrey police.
- Several bullet holes were found in the building's facade.
- Employees were on the premises at the time of the shooting, as in the previous two incidents.
“It is the third regrettable incident at this location,”
confirmed Surrey Police Service spokesman Ian MacDonald. The previous two shootings at Kap's Cafe have been linked to extortion.
