The first of two general election debates in the mayor's race starts at 7 p.m.
One of the last opportunities for Zohran Mamdani's opponents to change the dynamics of the race is tonight, as WNBC-TV broadcasts the debate between Mamdani, Democratic nominee and front-runner, and his opponents, independent Andrew Cuomo and Republican nominee Curtis Sliwa.
With less than three weeks until Election Day, polls show Mamdani holding a double-digit lead over Cuomo.
