Farming Equipment Stolen in Gwynedd

Police in Gwynedd and Conwy are seeking information after a series of burglaries resulted in the theft of farming equipment.

Between 21 and 23 September, four burglaries were reported in Bala and Betws Y Coed. Authorities are urging vigilance and asking anyone who has witnessed suspicious activity to come forward.

I would also suggest farmers check their equipment and take steps to secure sheds or outbuildings, and ensure any keys are removed from equipment overnight.

Additionally, I would request farmers in the area check CCTV for any suspicious activity caught overnight.

According to District Inspector Iwan Jones, farmers can contact the We Don’t Buy Crime Team for further safeguarding advice via the police website. Anyone with information should contact the police via their website or by calling 101, quoting reference 25000785369.
