A fire at the Morris Heights apartments in Statesboro on Sunday resulted in the displacement of 21 residents.
The blaze caused extensive damage and led to an overnight housing displacement for many, although no injuries were reported.
The incident occurred at 3:00 PM when Bulloch County 911 dispatched fire departments to the scene.
According to SFD Battalion Chief Lee Nessmith, the first engine on the scene reported heavy fire in a second-story apartment.
Firefighters quickly brought the blaze under control within minutes.
