Silent Hill 2 Remake Sales Reach 2.5m Worldwide
Konami has revealed that its survival horror remake Silent Hill 2, developed by Bloober Team, has hit another big sales milestone.
As of now, Silent Hill 2 has sold 2.5 million copies worldwide, including both digital and physical shipments, which is an increase of half a million sales since January this year.
This steady sales performance is notable for a niche title, although it was outpaced by recent release Silent Hill f in initial sales.
According to sales data, Silent Hill f racked up a million sales in a single day, surpassing the remake's performance.
Silent Hill 2 has now sold 2.5 million copies worldwide.
This sales milestone bodes well for the upcoming reimagining of the first game.
