Stockport Publishes Draft Local Plan
Stockport has published a 219-page spatial strategy for the borough, which includes 26 Green Belt sites.
The plan has been made available ahead of a consultation period, which is set to begin in the coming weeks.
Planners across the region have got a busy weekend of reading ahead of them.
The plan's design has been described as "not exactly groundbreaking" by some, but others have expressed optimism about the proposals.

The local plan has been the subject of much debate since the council withdrew from the spatial plan for Greater Manchester.
