Vikings’ QB and Coach Closing in on Milestones
Warren Central will face Greenville on Friday in its homecoming football game at Viking Stadium. The Vikings are trying to focus on staying on course for another region championship amidst distractions.
The Vikings (4-2, 1-0 MHSAA Region 2-6A) host Greenville (4-2, 0-1) as they try to juggle it all.

First and foremost, the Vikings have to deal with a resurgent Greenville team that is already having its best season in years. The Hornets’ four wins match the program’s highest total since 2002. They haven’t made the playoffs since 2001, but can take a big step toward ending that drought with an upset Friday.
Greenville has shown its strength, being
tied with Neshoba with seven minutes left in the game. The Vikings must be prepared to face this challenge.
