Scottish Liberal Democrats on Verge of Historic Breakthrough

Alex Cole-Hamilton, the Scottish Lib Dem leader, stated that his party is on the verge of a historic breakthrough in the upcoming Holyrood elections in May.

Cole-Hamilton spoke at the Scottish Liberal Democrats conference in Glasgow on October 18, emphasizing the party's focus on offering voters "hope" and a "realistic plan".

Scottish Liberal Democrats secured £15 million more for GPs in the Scottish Budget this year, to alleviate some of the recruitment and retention issues that practices are struggling with right now, to make it easier for people to see a GP.

The party plans to commit to training and recruiting staff, including "nurses, mental health professionals and physios", in the coming election.
