Lawrence City Commissioners Approve Funding for Municipal Services Campus
Lawrence city commissioners have approved a maximum price of $57.5 million for the second phase of the Municipal Services and Operations campus.
The campus, located on the eastern edge of town, has an estimated total cost of $130.1 million. It will combine various city divisions, including streets, water, stormwater, and solid waste, into one location.
- Phase 1 is currently under construction
- Phase 2 will include a central maintenance garage and solid waste operations
