Newcastle University Student Creates Unique Art for Mercury Prize

A Fine Art student at Newcastle University has been commissioned to create 12 pieces of artwork for the Mercury Prize 2025.

Charlotte Brecken, a fourth-year student, specializes in miniature artworks and has created versions of each album's cover art on rail tickets for the 12 shortlisted artists.

Charlotte is thrilled to showcase her artwork, having started her own art business, Lottivics Art, while studying for her GCSEs.

The Mercury Prize 2025 is being hosted in Newcastle, the first time it has been held outside London.
