Canada's 26th-ranked men's soccer team held 13th-ranked Colombia to a scoreless draw in an international friendly.
The Canadian team, led by midfielder Stephen Eustaquio and winger Tajon Buchanan, gave a strong effort and proved to be a handful for the South Americans.
"I think it was a good performance, not a great performance … I felt like most of the game we were in fourth or fifth gear and we could have really pushed ourselves into sixth gear,"
said Canada coach Jesse Marsch, who was not satisfied with the draw. He added,
"We are the type of team that can play in these games, be better in these games and win these games."
Scoring chances were scarce until the final minutes, when both teams pushed for a late goal.
