KYTC Implements Crash Reduction Campaign
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet aims to prevent tragedies on roadways.
The Kentucky Office of Highway Safety (KOHS) has partnered with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and law enforcement for an annual crash reduction campaign.
According to KOHS, October has been the month with the highest number of fatal crashes in the United States since 2011.
“It’s mainly focused on seat belt safety, education, you know, educating the public and high visibility enforcement to reinforce safe driving habits,”
said Ryan Fisher, Executive Director for Kentucky Office of Highway Safety.
