Introduction of Wonder Man to the MCU
Marvel Studios is set to introduce a new hero to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) who could potentially become one of the most powerful Avengers in Phase 7.
The upcoming Wonder Man series, premiering on Disney+ on January 27, 2026, will feature Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Simon Williams.
Developed by Destin Daniel Cretton and Andrew Guest, the series is expected to continue Marvel Studios' hot streak after receiving huge praise for projects like Agatha All Along, Thunderbolts, X-Men '97, The Fantastic Four: First Steps, and Ironheart.
The new hero has the power to take on any of the Avengers in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
