Heavy flooding occurred in parts of Western Colorado, but the rain is now clearing.
Rain fell across Western Colorado from midnight to sunrise, with a 60% chance of moisture in the forecast. Drizzles are expected this morning but will fade by the end of the day.
The remnants of the storms associated with Tropical Depression Raymond are dissipating. The Grand Junction area has seen 2.29 inches of rain since Friday and 2.33 inches since the start of the month.
According to historical records, the average precipitation for October is 0.40 inches. Records have been broken with the rainfall over the last several days.
The National Weather Service has renewed a Flood Watch for Southwestern Colorado.
