Cadwallader Invests in Electric Refrigerated Trailer
Cadwallader has expanded its fleet with a Schmitz Cargobull S.KOe COOL, its first fully-electric refrigerated trailer for rental.
The company, based in Shropshire, chose the zero-emission trailer to complement its conventionally powered rental trailers, meeting the evolving needs of its customers.
“If you went back five years fully-electric refrigerated trailers were vanishingly rare. Now we have excellent options such as the S.KOe COOL. However, if you want to hire an electric reefer, provision remains limited.” - Joe Cadwallader, Business Development Manager
According to Joe Cadwallader, there is a strong demand for environmentally friendly options, with hauliers at a disadvantage if they lack a sustainability policy and supporting products.
Cadwallader's investment in the electric trailer aims to address this demand and provide customers with a more sustainable solution.
