Puppy Stolen from Fairfield Pet Store
A 12-week-old Yorkie puppy is missing after a woman ran out of a Fairfield pet store with the animal, according to the Fairfield Police Department.
The incident occurred at the Petland on Dixie Highway around 7:20 p.m. when the woman took the puppy, valued at $4,099, and left the store.
- The woman wore a mask and pajama pants.
- She carried a large white bag.
- The puppy, named Toto, is a black and tan Yorkie.
The woman asked an employee if the dog behind the glass was a Yorkie and requested to visit with the puppy before taking it.
