Biblical Definition of Marriage
A recent study by the Family Research Council and the Cultural Research Center at Arizona Christian University found that 68% of churchgoers believe marriage is between one man and one woman.
The survey, "Social Issues and Worldview," conducted in July, polled 1,003 churchgoing adults and explored their beliefs on social topics and family life.
Notably, only 46% of respondents defined "family" as a husband, wife, their children, and relatives, despite a strong consensus on the biblical definition of marriage.
Among adults who attend Christian worship at least monthly, a significant majority hold traditional views on marriage.
