Diana Fast, who was set to represent Germany at the 2025 Miss Universe competition in Thailand, has announced that she will not be participating. The beauty queen shared the news via social media earlier this week.
Fast, crowned Miss Germany 2025 earlier this year, revealed her decision through an Instagram Story, where she spoke about the honor of representing her nation and reflected on her journey in the pageant world.
"It has been one of the most meaningful and empowering experiences of my life," she wrote. "I am endlessly grateful to be part of the Miss Universe family, surrounded by incredible women who inspire, uplift, and embody true purpose."
After careful reflection, Fast stated that she would not travel to Thailand this year. She explained that her choice was influenced by personal priorities related to family and motherhood.
"As a devoted mother, currently building a new home by myself for my family, I have chosen to stay close to my son during this important phase of our lives," she added.
Her announcement drew both support and admiration online, as many commended her for prioritizing family while expressing gratitude for the experiences gained through Miss Universe.
Diana Fast gracefully withdrew from Miss Universe 2025, choosing family responsibilities over competition while expressing gratitude for her empowering Miss Germany journey.
