Expansion of Outpatient Services at Durham Hospital
The South Bruce Grey Health Centre is expanding its outpatient services at the Durham hospital to include cardiology, pediatric mental health, and orthopedics.
According to Nancy Shaw, President and CEO of SBHGHC,
“There is very high demand for all of these services in our areas, so this will be a welcome addition not only for the Durham site, but for the entire region”and
“We are thrilled to be able to support the delivery of these specialized services closer to home, minimizing travel for patients and families”.
- A new cardiology clinic, starting this month, will be supported by Dr. Lorne Gula from London Health Sciences Centre.
- Pediatric mental health services, also beginning this month, are being supported by Keystone Child Youth and Family Services.
