Cookie Brand Floozie No Longer Fully Plant-Based Following Introduction of Non-Vegan Flavours - vegconomist - the vegan business magazine

Floozie Cookie Brand No Longer Fully Plant-Based

Floozie, a London-based cookie brand, has announced it is no longer fully vegan due to challenges in sourcing high-quality vegan ingredients at scale.

The company will introduce animal-based ingredients into some recipes, while half of the core range will remain vegan. This decision aims to maintain flavor and avoid price increases.

“This change means we can continue to bake with care, explore new flavour ideas and keep bringing you the same Floozie joy,” said the brand.

Plant-based milks will still be available for drinks and shakes. The announcement, made on World Vegan Day, has sparked backlash from customers, with one commenter stating:

“Hugely disappointing news, I would have thought there would be other options to exhaust before doing this,”
