The Big Shred Document Disposal in Cape Coral
The Big Shred is returning to Cape Coral, hosted by the Lee County Clerk & Comptroller office as a semi-annual shredding event.
The event will take place on Saturday at the Manning Government Complex, 1039 SE 9th Place, in Cape Coral, offering a convenient way to securely dispose of confidential records.
"We created the big shred as a way to help our community members keep their personal information at home safe,”
said Clerk Kevin Karnes. This is the fifth Big Shred event, with past events collecting over 25,200 pounds of confidential documents for safe shredding and disposal.
- Past events have been held in Estero, Cape Coral, Lehigh Acres, and Fort Myers.
- The last Big Shred in Cape Coral disposed of over 5,500 pounds of documents securely.
