Apple Releases iOS 26.1
Apple today released iOS 26.1, the first major update to the iOS 26 operating system.
- Compatible with iPhone 11 series and later, as well as the second-generation iPhone SE.
- Available for download over-the-air by going to Settings > General > Software Update.
New Features
iOS 26.1 adds several new features, including:
- A toggle to increase the opacity of Liquid Glass.
- Swipe to turn off Alarms and Timers.
- Option to turn off the Lock Screen Camera swipe.
- Apple Intelligence and AirPods Live Translation in additional languages.
- Small changes to Settings, Music, TV, Phone, Fitness, Photos, and Safari.
