National Hurricane Center: Tropical Storm Updates

Tropical Storm Jerry is expected to strengthen as it moves northward from the islands toward Bermuda, turning east before reaching the island early next week.

In the tropics, Post-Tropical Storm Karen formed in the far northern Atlantic, becoming the 11th named storm of the 2025 Atlantic hurricane season.

According to the National Hurricane Center, Post-Tropical Storm Karen was located about 675 miles north-northwest of the Azores as of late Friday.

It also marked the furthest north a tropical system has developed since records began in the 1850s.
