Remembrance Day Ceremonies Across the Region
Local communities are preparing to remember the sacrifices of our veterans. Remembrance Day ceremonies will be held at many locations across the region around and on Remembrance Day on Tuesday, November 11.
Royal Canadian Legion Branch 472 in Hawkesbury is organizing four different Remembrance Day ceremonies.
- Saturday, November 8, at 2 pm, at the cenotaph in Alfred
- Sunday, November 9, at the cenotaph in L’Orignal, beside the entrance to L’Orignal Park
- Sunday, November 9, at 2 pm, at the cenotaph in Vankleek Hill, beside the post office on Main Street
- Tuesday, November 11, at the Hawkesbury Cenotaph, beside Cartier Boulevard and the entrance to the Robert Hartley Sports Complex
