Update on Oklahoma's Guardian System and SQ 836 Petition
Oklahoma's Guardian system, used for reporting and tracking campaign and lobbyist activity, has relaunched in a limited capacity, two months after its scheduled launch in September 2025.
Meanwhile, a petition is circulating to gather signatures for SQ 836.
- The Oklahoma Ethics Commission has been working to replace the old Guardian system for two years.
- The new platform, Guardian 2.0, is not yet fully operational due to several delays.
