A group in Romsey, part of Amnesty International, is utilizing gardening to foster unity and civic pride in their community.
The group recently participated in a tidy-up at Romsey railway station to support the 3 Rivers Community Rail Partnership.
Amnesty’s theme this year is Community as a Superpower and we hope that, by leaving Romsey station a little better than we found it, people will see that working together as a community is a force for good.
Group chair Fay Fleming emphasized the importance of community involvement, stating that people are proud of Romsey and feel responsible for its care.
The group's efforts aim to demonstrate the positive impact of collective action in maintaining and improving their community.
