Sweden's JAS 39 Gripen in NATO Nuclear Drills
Sweden, NATO's 32nd member, will participate in the Steadfast Noon exercises for the first time, starting October 13.
The Swedish Air Force will train alongside allies under the SNOWCAT concept, focusing on reliability, safety, and effectiveness of NATO's nuclear deterrence.
Nuclear deterrence is primarily intended to ensure the security of allies, and in today's unstable conditions, NATO must maintain a reliable nuclear capability that serves as a safeguard against attacks on the Alliance.
