Residents say Cadillac apartment building unsafe, former staffer says she was told to sign tenant names

Residents Express Concerns Over Unsafe Conditions at Cadillac Apartment Building

Seniors at Cadillac's Harbor View Apartments have reported persistent issues with broken heat, infestations, and unsafe conditions. A former staff member has also alleged management misconduct.

Residents have been complaining about the broken heating system since last winter. During a visit to the apartments, it was found that seniors had additional concerns, including poor lighting in the hallways.

“They don’t fix the lights,” said Joe Evison, a resident. “A bulb will burn out and they’ll just leave it. You come down here at night and you can hardly see.”

A former staffer has come forward, alleging that they were told to sign tenant names, further highlighting management misconduct at the complex.
