Las Vegas Officers Honored with Good Ticket Award

Officers Alan Muñoz and Christian Fewer of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department were awarded the Good Ticket award for their exceptional compassion and empathy during a crisis call.

According to the department, the officers responded to a call involving a woman in crisis and took the time to listen, recognizing the humanity of the situation. They spent 30 minutes with the woman, helping her process her thoughts and guiding her towards a place of calm and clarity.

The woman later sent a heartfelt letter to Metro Police expressing her gratitude, highlighting the role of law enforcement officers as caregivers, mentors, and social workers in critical moments.
