Sixers Bell Ringer: Sixers Storm Back to Shock Wizards in OT
The Philadelphia 76ers, still unbeaten, came back from a 19-point deficit to remain 4-0 on the season.
The 3-0 Sixers took their unbeaten record on the road to face the Washington Wizards on Tuesday night. Despite being without Jared McCain and Paul George, the Sixers debuted Trendon Watford, who returned from a hamstring injury. Joel Embiid also returned to the lineup after sitting out the previous night's game.
Tyrese Maxey had a strong start, scoring 12 points in the first quarter, including 4-of-6 from the field and 3-of-4 from beyond the arc. However, the Wizards' hot shooting and the Sixers' poor defense put them in a 40-32 hole after the first quarter. Alex Sarr led the Wizards with 13 points in the first quarter.
