Boy, 10, cycles 66 miles across Pembrokeshire in mammoth challenge

Young Cyclist Completes 66-Mile Ride for RNLI

A 10-year-old boy, Henry Warwick, has completed a 66-mile cycle ride across Pembrokeshire to support the RNLI.

Henry, from Herefordshire, started his journey in Tenby and finished in Fishguard, where he was welcomed by the Fishguard RNLI team on October 18, 2025. The ride took nine hours and 10 minutes to complete, passing through Tenby, St Davids, and Fishguard lifeboat stations.

"It felt really welcoming to have everyone there clapping for me as I arrived. I was glad to know I had completed the ride and really proud of what I had achieved."

Henry's fundraising effort was inspired by a visit to Fishguard RNLI in February 2025, where he met station coxswain Gemma Gill and learned that the charity relies entirely on public donations.

Author's summary: Boy cycles 66 miles for RNLI charity.
