The "Seeded: Art After Investment" exhibit is on display in the Harry Krug Gallery until November 10. It features artwork created by students and faculty using new equipment funded by a $25,000 Infrastructure Grant.
A public reception is planned for Wednesday from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.
The works on view represent not only individual artistic achievement but also the expanded possibilities afforded by new tools and technologies in our studios and galleries.
The grant was strategically divided among several studios, including Printmaking, Jewelry/Metals, Illustration, and Ceramics, to maximize impact, according to Department Chair Jamie Oliver.
