Husband and Wife Star in 'Gypsy' at Savannah Center
A husband and wife team take to the stage in Smash Productions' musical "Gypsy," playing in October.
Deborah Gibbons plays the lead role of Mama Rose, an obsessed stage mother, who guides her daughter Louise, played by Pinky Bigley, from child star to burlesque queen Gypsy Rose Lee.
Another daughter, June, played by Dawn DiNome Wetzel, also achieves acting success. Mama Rose is supported by Herbie, her talent manager and one true love, played by Garry Gibbons, Deborah's husband.
