Two elderly Palestinians were injured in an attack by Israeli colonists near the town of Surif, northwest of Hebron, in the southern occupied West Bank.
A WAFA correspondent reported that armed colonists, under the protection of Israeli occupation soldiers, assaulted residents in the Al-Qurainat area, injuring Abdullah Ghneimat, 82, and his brother Ibrahim, 72.
Both were transferred to hospital for treatment. The colonists also set fire to a vehicle and smashed the windows of two homes in the neighborhood, according to Hazem Ghneimat, the mayor of Surif.
Anti-settlement activist Osama Makhmara told WAFA that colonists assaulted a peace activist during a raid on a home in the village of Susiya, south of Hebron, causing him bruises.
