Several businesses in Draper were forced to close due to a sewer line issue in the Jordan Basin area.

The Salt Lake County Health Department ordered businesses in the Draper Peaks shopping center at 201 East 12300 South to either temporarily close or restrict access to their restrooms.

The cause of the closure was a sewer line blockage near 12200 South State Street, but no homes were affected.

Repairs were completed by the Jordan Basin Improvement District, allowing affected businesses to resume normal operations, officials announced just before 9 p.m.
