Former Auditor-General, Daniel Yaw Domelevo, has cautioned against the haste to prosecute corruption-related cases without ensuring proper investigation and effective prosecution.
"My worry is not about the speed going into the courtroom, my worry is about when we arrive at the courtroom what next? Because from my point of view, the legal framework must change to facilitate the early completion of these cases,"
he said on JoyNews’ Newsfile. Mr Domelevo prefers the quality outcome of judicial processes using the right legal framework to the speed at which cases are sent to court.
