Ty France and Bo Bichette Join World Series Roster
The Toronto Blue Jays have added Ty France and Bo Bichette to their World Series roster.
While the addition of shortstop Bo Bichette is garnering attention, the inclusion of first baseman/designated hitter Ty France could also be beneficial in late-game situations.
France, acquired from the Minnesota Twins before the trade deadline, performed well in the second half of the season, with a slash line of .277/.320/.372 in 94 at-bats.
He and Bichette replace outfielder Joey Loperfido and pitcher Yariel Rodriguez on the roster.
France's season-long statistics include a .244/.298/.389 slash line with three home runs.
