Jakob Chychrun's Baptism Ceremony
Washington Capitals defenseman Jakob Chychrun was baptized in a private ceremony on September 20, 2025, surrounded by family and loved ones.
Chychrun's mother, Nancy, shared photos from the ceremony on her Instagram, including a picture of Chychrun in a white baptismal robe and another of him being baptized by immersion.
A group photo was taken with Chychrun, his parents, his wife Olivia, and the gathered guests after the ceremony.
Additional photos showed the couple celebrating at home with a decorated cake that read "God Bless Jakob."
