Stumbling Downhill Fast
Too frequently, I am compelled to address issues I would have preferred not to comment on. Trinidad and Tobago is richly endowed, yet we endure a litany of socio-economic, cultural, and political nightmares.
Despite its incredible attributes and assets, the nation's current leadership is dragging us downhill fast. This is due to the reluctance to articulate a concept as important as nationhood, a consensual national destiny, after 63 years of Independence and self-determination.
the hopes, dreams and aspirations to which we repeatedly and lustily pledge our lives.
The nation's leadership persists in this downward trend, despite the multitude of attributes and assets it brings to the global agenda.
