A "Stop Farage" campaign appears to have contributed to the Reform Party's loss in the Caerphilly by-election in Wales.
Plaid Cymru's Lindsay Whittle won the seat with 47.4% of the vote, while Reform UK's Llŷr Powell came in second with 36%.
The Labour Party, which had held the seat for over 100 years, suffered a significant loss, receiving only 11% of the vote.
The high turnout of 50.43%, up from 41% in the 2021 election, seems to have played a role in the outcome.
