Columbia City Man Dies In Two-Vehicle Accident Near Churubusco
A Columbia City man is dead after a two-vehicle accident near Churubusco on Tuesday morning.
On Tuesday morning, emergency personnel responded to an accident on SR 205, at Blue Lake Road, Churubusco.
An accident report from the Whitley County Sheriff’s Office states Paula A. Murphy, 67, Churubusco, was traveling south on SR 205 and attempted to turn left onto Blue Lake Road in an SUV when she failed to yield to a motorcyclist traveling north.
The motorcyclist, identified as Brian C. O’Connor, 53, Columbia City, was pronounced dead at the scene. Murphy was taken to Parkview Whitley Hospital for unknown injuries.
