Fatal Accident Near Churubusco
A two-vehicle accident occurred near Churubusco on Tuesday morning, resulting in the death of a Columbia City man.
According to the Whitley County Sheriff's Office, Paula A. Murphy, 67, of Churubusco, was traveling south on SR 205 and attempted to turn left onto Blue Lake Road when she failed to yield to a motorcyclist traveling north.
- The motorcyclist, identified as Brian C. O'Connor, 53, of Columbia City, was pronounced dead at the scene.
- Murphy was taken to Parkview Whitley Hospital for unknown injuries.
