Team Sturmay Wins 2025 Pre-Trials Opener
Team Sturmay, led by skip Selena Sturmay, has started their 2025 Home Hardware Canadian Curling Pre-Trials campaign with a 7-3 victory over Team Scharf.
The event is being hosted at Acadia University's Andrew H. McCain Arena in Wolfville, N.S., and Team Sturmay, ranked 11th in CTRS, is among the top contenders for a berth in the 2025 Montana's Canadian Curling Trials.
It’s a long trip from Alberta to Wolfville, N.S., but it’s one that Edmonton’s Team Selena Sturmay was happy to make.
The team, consisting of vice-skip Danielle Schmiemann, second Deseray Hawes, lead Paige Papley, and coach Ted Appleman, aims to secure a spot in the 2025 Montana's Canadian Curling Trials, set for November 22-30 in Halifax.
